The Department has official MoUsand collaborations with various centers of Qur’anic studies, including KA Nizami Centre for Qur’anic Studies at the Aligarh Muslim University, Department of Qur’an and Sunnah Studies at the International Islamic University Malaysia, and Chair for Islamic Studies and Research at the University of Calicut. The biannual International Conference on Qur’anic Studies (ICQS) is the flagship outreach program of the Department. Launched in 2015, four editions of the ICQS were held so far with the attendance of international scholars from 20+ countries. Annual academic voyage of graduate students with the faculties of the Department, known as “Sayr” is another remarkable program, aimed at acquiring first-hand experience with the traditional and modern trends in studying the Qur’an.
