About College

Fathima Zahra Islamic Women’s College is a reputed higher educational institution established in 1992 at Chemmad in Malappuram district, with the vision of promoting quality integrated religious and secular education for Muslim women in Kerala. Since its inception, the institution has played a significant role in advancing women’s education by maintaining high academic and ethical standards in the field of religious learning. Over the past three decades, the college has consistently demonstrated excellence in women’s religious education by adopting the internationally recognised integrated educational model of Darul Huda. The institution places special emphasis on holistic development through a balanced integration of spiritual, intellectual, and contemporary knowledge. Through well-structured long-term academic and leadership-oriented programmes, the college is committed to nurturing competent and socially responsible women scholars equipped with clear vision, leadership qualities, and the ability to contribute meaningfully to the Muslim community and the wider society.

ADMISSION

Admission is granted to girl students who have passed the Samastha Madrasa Seventh Standard examination and are not above thirteen and a half years of age. Applications are received every year before the 20th of Ramadan, and candidates are selected through an admission test conducted by Darul Huda Islamic University. Only the students selected through this admission test are given entry into the institution
