The FUIW has organised in collaboration with the Bureau of the Islamic Body for Quality Assurance and Accreditation, the International Islamic University Malaysia an expert meeting on: Implementation of Universities’ Performance Measurement Tool in the Islamic World (Asian Region). This tools of university performance measurement tool was approved by 7th session of the general conference of the federation of the universities of the Islamic world held in Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco on 13th -14th February 2017.

Assam centre secondary building inaugurated

The secondary building for Darul Huda Islamic University Assam Centre was inaugurated in an epoch making event which marked the beginning of a new era in the Islamic history of the in northeast India. The building named after Sayyid Muhammed Ali Shihab Thangal was inaugurates by Sayyid Hyder Ali Shihab Ba-Alavi Al-Husaini, Chancellor DHIU. Other facilities like Zainul Ulama library, computer lab, smart class room, and auditorium were opened by Dr. Bahauddin Muhammad Nadwi (VC DHIU), PV Abdul Wahab M.P, ET Muhammed Basheer M.P, Zakir Hussain MLA respectively. The public program attended by thousands was presided over by Vice Chancellor Dr. Bahauddin Muhammad Nadwi. Abdul Khalikh MLA, former agricultural minister Siddeeque Ali Ahmed, Dr. D.M.B.B baruah(National Detective Bureau), Shafi Haji (Secretary Darul Huda), Dr. U V K Muhammed (Secretary Darul Huda), Bava Haji (President , Sohar Sunni Centre, Oman) and other eminent personalities were present. As part of the program four HADIA moral schools aided by Sohar Sunni Centre, Oman were also inaugurated by chancellor Sayyid Hyder Ali Shihab Ba-Alavi Al-Husaini, Dr. Bahauddin Muhammad Nadwi (VC DHIU), Sayyid Muhammad Koya Jamlullail (Vice President, Darul Huda) and Saidalavi haji (Treasurer Darul Huda).

Sharpening camp for degree first year

In order to instill in students confidence, resilience and responsibilities, a sharpening camp was organised for degree first year students at Bevinja, Kasaragod on  11/10/2017. Usthad Muneer Hudawi Karuvanthiruthi led morning session of this one-day camp as he presented his talk on the topic 'Be a social'. Usthad Rahees Hudawi Theruvath led a spiritual class awakening the responsibilities and duties they owe to themselves and others. Usthad Mushthaq Hudawi Eriyal presented a motivational class making them completely-equipped to cope with developing modern world.

Mr. Raj emphasized the key role of parents in making up good generation as they should benevolent to their children.  Darul Huda registrar MK Jabir Hudavi delivered the welcome speech. Working secretary of DH, U Shafi Haji delivered the felicitation speech. Committee members including executives took part in this session

Students have the innate habit of saying “yes”, so they should gain the courage to say “NO” to every bad temptation, says Rishi Raj Sing, Kerala excise commissioner. He was speaking to students in Darul Huda auditorium as the part of mission against drugs usage.

Darul Huda Islamic University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Islamic University of Rotterdam, the prestigious Islamic university of Europe. Both universities were represented by Dr. Ahmet Akgündüz, the Rector of RIU and Dr. Bahauddeen Muhammed Nadwi, the Vice Chancellor of DHIU. 
According to the MoU, both Islamic universities will cooperate in in the areas of students and teachers exchange, research in Islamic Studies and other areas of co-operation to be mutually agreed.

Description

Training workshop for Arabic Teachers  was organized  at Darul Huda Islamic  University for Arabic Teachers of the University and its under gradated colleges by well known world Arabic Foundation, ’Arabic For All’ based at Riyadh, Kingdom  of Saudi Arabia.

The training workshop  lasted for four days starting from 8th August 2017 Tuesday under thought provoking lectures of Dr. Abdull bin Yahya Bin Jabir Al Faifi and Prof. Abdulla Bin Abdu Rahman bin Ibrahim Al Fouzan , the trainers of ‘Arabic For All’ as well as Lectures of Imam Muhammad Bin Saud Islamic University, Riyadh.

DHIU Vice Chancellor r. Bahauddeen  Muhammed  Nadwi inaugurated the program on Tuesday while the camp was curtained down on Friday evening distributing certificates to whole participants.

The training was consisted of methods and modes of mighty pleasure and self satisfied of outstanding performance of participants and described them as their best trainees promising recent follow ups in the nearest futures.
