Three days long DHIU convocation conference begins

Darul Huda Islamic University(DHIU), the largest islamic educational institution in south india, commenced its auspicious convocation conference here in Chemmad yesterday.  Three days long conference began with flag hoisting of Chemmukkan Kunchappu Haji, the general secretary of Darul Huda managing committee.

Dr. Ahammed Bin Usman, consulate of Moroccan embassy inaugurated the opening session. Dr. Bahahuddheen Nadwi made welcome speech.  Panakkad Sayyid Hyder Ali Shihab Thanghal, chancellor of DHIU presided the session. Later Hyder Ali  Thanghal released DHIU’s maiden Islamic journal granting to Dr. M.H Ilyas, professor of S.D University, Denmark. After, PP Umar Musliyar koyyod, secretary of Samastha Kerala Jam’yyathul Ulama, Thodiyoor Kunchi Mohammed Moulavi, chairman of Hajj Committee, MLA Abdurabb, Abdussamad Samadhani and Sathar Panthalloor, general secretary of SKSSF addressed the gatherings.

Chelekkad Muhammed Musliyar, T.P Eppa musliyar, K.M Saidalavi Haji, Dr. N.A.M Abdul Qader, M. Ummar MLA, M. Abdu Rahman, vice chairman of Thiruranghadi corporation participated in the programme.

 At the outset, Kozhikkod Qazi  Sayyid Abdunnasar Hayy Shihab Thanghal had led for prayer at Mampuram Maqam. Later a massive rally of 708 Hudawi scholalars was staged.

On the late, a session of Unity Conference on topic of “Our India” was held at 7.00 pm. Shree, P. Ramakrishnan, speaker of legislative assembly inaugurated the session. Muhyudheen Alway presided over the fuction. Chief guest, Ramesh Chennithala, leader of opposition addressed the session. Onampilly Muhammed Faizy, M.P Sajeevan, Dr. M.K Muneer MLA, A.P Anil Kumar MLA, V.T Sadheeshan MLA, K.M Shaji MLA, Muhammed Muhsin MLA,  Adv. Shamsudheen MLA, AP Unnikrishnan, district president Malappuram and many others participated in the function.
