Hudawis’ Association for Devoted Islamic Activities (HADIA) is the alumni association of the DHIU. A significant number of graduates of the University engage in multi faceted Islamic services at regional, national and international levels. Darul Huda Alumni also lead various socio-educational empowerment initiatives of the University among the backward Muslim communities in different Indian States like Assam, West Bengal, Bihar, Seemandhra and Maharashtra. After completing the Hudawi program, few other graduates pursue further studies both in Indian and foreign universities worldwide. These include Jawaharlal Nehru University, Indian Institute of Mass Communication, Jamia Millia Islamia, Aligarh Muslim University, Jamia Hamdard, University of Hyderabad, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Central University of Gujarat, English and Foreign Languages University and IITs in India. Some graduates are research scholars at globally reputed universities including University of California Berkeley, International Islamic University Malaysia, University of Technology Malaysia, Al-Azhar University Egypt, Leiden University the Netherlands, and Marmara University Istanbul. Other graduates pursue careers in occupations including administration of religious affairs, teaching, journalism, law, publishing and the civil service. Some graduates are working with renowned media houses including the BBC and Al-Jazeera. Several others work as lecturers in reputed universities and Islamic higher education institutes inside and outside India.
